Meet The Team

Dr. Tentler earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Loyola University and completed a general practice residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He also completed anesthesia residency training at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago and is a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesia. He is a past president of the Illinois Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

With training in office-based IV sedation and general anesthesia, Dr. Tentler has a special focus on helping patients who face barriers to receiving dental care, including:

Adults and children with developmental, intellectual, or physical disabilities
Patients with significant dental anxiety or phobias
Individuals who have difficulty tolerating needles, dental sounds, or other sensory aspects of treatment
Patients with strong gag reflexes
Patients who require extensive dental treatment with anesthesia support

Outside the office, Dr. Tentler is an avid skier who enjoys snorkeling, fishing, traveling, gourmet cooking, and spending time with his family.
